Honored to be sworn in as your State Representative for Georgia House District 177.

Serving this community is both a privilege and a responsibility that I do not take lightly. I am committed to listening, leading with integrity, and working every day to create opportunities that strengthen our families, businesses, and communities.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I look forward to serving the people of District 177 and working together to build a stronger future for Georgia.

Georgia Capitol was filled with meaningful conversations, reconnecting with familiar faces, and building new relationships as we continue serving the people of Georgia House District 177.

The group photo includes several distinguished members of the Divine Nine, representing a legacy of leadership, service, and excellence.

You will also see a photo with my friend and colleague, Representative Dewey McClain. We go back many years. We actually competed against each other on the football field during our college days. Rep. McClain attended East Central University, while I played at Northeastern State University. It is amazing how those early experiences have come full circle as we now serve together under the Gold Dome.

I am honored to represent District 177 and look forward to sharing this journey with you.

We officially launched our outreach for Dr. Alvin Payton Jr. with stops across Lowndes County — meeting neighbors, sharing our vision, and listening to the issues that matter most to District 177 families.

Honored to receive the support of local educators who recognize our commitment to strong public schools, teacher pay, and student opportunity across South Georgia.
